The engineering behind the sound.
Every custom EarFit monitor is brought to life in an ISO-certified production centre, to aerospace and surgical standards, using five different additive manufacturing technologies. Scroll down to explore, one by one, the nine technologies that make our products possible.
ScrollISO-certified production centre
At the heart of our manufacturing is an ISO-standard production centre. We use five different additive manufacturing technologies to build each custom monitor, delivering exceptional precision and reliability. Our ISO certification is global proof that our processes meet strict international standards and that we deliver consistency in every product.
Aerospace and surgical-grade production
We're committed to building every product to the highest quality standards. Aerospace and surgical standards are the most demanding criteria defined for environments that require extreme precision and reliability. By applying these rigorous standards across all of our processes, we deliver exceptional durability and performance.
FlexFit adaptation technology
FlexFit makes it possible to combine an ear-specific fit with the option of silicone tips. This dual approach means maximum comfort, optimal isolation and long-term performance. Even as the human ear changes over time and the canal widens with jaw movement, the monitor stays sealed and comfortable in every situation.
Unbreakable sound
We build the world's first custom titanium in-ear monitors, setting a new benchmark in audio technology. Titanium's unique crystalline structure transmits sound waves efficiently. TitanIEMs are produced with SLM technology, in which titanium powder is fused layer by layer; low resonance keeps high frequencies sharp and low frequencies deep and full.
Precision and detail
We achieve highly precise, detailed production with polymer-based SLA (stereolithography) technology. This method, in which liquid resin is cured layer by layer with a laser, is unrivalled for complex geometries. All of our machines are CE certified, and our resins are biocompatible, dependable and developed specifically for audio.
A listening experience made for you
Standard earphones follow a single one-size-fits-all design that doesn't suit every ear. We design the sound bore, driver position and internal geometry individually for each user, working from an exact digital model derived from your ear impressions. Sound is delivered with no loss, no distortion and a balanced frequency response.
A design without silicone tubing
In conventional monitors the sound bores are formed with silicone tubing, but this tubing absorbs part of the sound wave, causing loss, distortion and phase problems. We design every passage between the driver and the ear canal digitally and produce it directly with 3D printing. Without tubing, sound is transmitted more purely and intact: phase is preserved and distortion is reduced.
Comfort with every breath
In extended use — particularly for performers and sound engineers — the pressure difference between the inner and outer ear can cause fatigue. The ventilation channels in our monitors allow airflow to equalise that pressure, keep sound leakage to a minimum and deliver comfort without compromising acoustic performance.
Military-grade durability
In industrial and military settings, durability under harsh conditions and heavy use is among the most important qualities. We design our monitors to deliver military-grade durability. The materials and techniques we use provide resistance to dust, moisture, impact and extreme temperatures — dependable, long-lasting performance even in the toughest conditions.
