Innovation in Design

Sound drivers are the most critical components in earphones, directly affecting sound quality. In in-ear monitors (IEMs) that use multiple drivers, the correct positioning of these drivers and the accurate design of sound channels are vital for maximizing sound quality. Traditional methods often use silicone tubes to create these sound channels. However, silicone tubes can absorb some of the sound waves, which negatively impacts sound quality.

Disadvantages of Silicone Tubes:

• Sound Loss and Distortion: Silicone tubes can absorb part of the sound waves, leading to sound loss and distortion. This is especially detrimental to sound quality in frequencies that require high precision.

• Phase Issues: Tubes can alter the phase of sound waves, which negatively affects the naturalness of the sound emitted from the earphones.

Advantages of Silicone Tubeless Design

At EarFit, we have developed a silicone tubeless design to eliminate these disadvantages and provide our users with the highest quality sound. In this design, all pathways between the sound drivers and the ear canal are digitally designed and directly produced via 3D printing. This method allows for purer and unadulterated sound transmission.

1. Cleaner and Pure Sound: Without silicone tubes, sound waves are transmitted directly from the driver to the ear, resulting in a cleaner, purer, and more natural sound.

2. Low Distortion: The distortion caused by silicone tubes is eliminated, preserving the phase of the sound and providing a more balanced audio experience.

3. Enhanced Acoustic Performance: The tubeless design reduces obstacles in the sound’s journey, providing excellent performance across a broader frequency range.

4. Detailed Sound: The silicone tubeless design allows every sound detail to be clearly heard, making it an ideal solution for professional sound engineers and musicians.
